Umvangazi Rest – Relax under the African Kiaat Tree – Our tranquil home is situated in Marloth Park, a nature conservancy bordering the Crocodile River and the Kruger National Park. Here the game freely roams. Warthogs, various buck species, monkeys, baboons, zebras and giraffes can been seen around the houses within Marloth Park. From viewing points you overlook the Kruger National Park where various animal species can be spotted. The Crocodile River is also home to the hippo and crocodile. Visitors also have the option to visit Lionspruit Private Game Reserve which is situated in Marloth Park.
Come and enjoy a relaxing, rejuvenating and peaceful setting in the bushveld. Umvangazi Rest is a fully self-catering house accommodating up to 8 people. It has an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area leading out onto a patio with a braai/barbeque and boma area as well as a splash pool. Venture upstairs to the deck and enjoy the view and relax whilst keeping an eye out for the animals coming by for a drink at the water holes closely situated to the house.
The house has two bedrooms on the ground floor, a loft area sleeping four and two bathrooms of which one is en-suite. All bedrooms have air-conditioning. Flat screen television and full DSTV is available during your stay.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave and oven/stove. Guests are asked to wash all dishes and remove garbage when checking out.

Marloth Park, a holiday township and nature conservancy is found in Mpumalanga bordering the Kruger National Park in South Africa.
Umvangazi Rest is situated on the south side of Marloth Park nearby Gate 1. Upon travelling to Marloth Park on the N4, it is recommended that the Gate 2 entrance be used as the Tenbosh road from the N4 to Marloth Park is tarred. The Gate 1 entrance can also be utilised but caution to be taken as the this is a dirt road.
Using Gate 2 would provide you an opportunity to drive through the park and if needed, to stop at one of the shopping centres within Marloth Park for any last minute grocery items before checking in at Umvangazi Rest.
